Celtic team vs St Johnstone revealed as Shane Duffy and Albian Ajeti call made by Neil Lennon

Neil Lennon has named his Celtic line-up to face St Johnstone this afternoon.

The Parkhead boss has made two changes to his side following the 4-0 win over St Mirren as Shane Duffy replaces the injured Stephen Welsh and Albian Ajeti drops to the bench for Ryan Christie.

Welsh, who has excelled in recent weeks, was stretchered off in Paisley and misses the trip to Perth. The injury is not as bad as first feared, but Duffy takes his spot in the starting XI in the meantime.

Lennon has opted to recall Christie to the side after getting on the scoresheet off the bench midweek as Celtic look to win their fourth match on the spin.

Scott Bain starts in goals with a back four of Greg Taylor, Jonjoe Kenny, Kris Ajer and Duffy.

There is a midfield five of Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, David Turnbull, Christie and Tom Rogic, who was the star man midweek.

Odsonne Edouard, who continued his hot scoring run against Jim Goodwin's men will lead the line for the visitors.

Celtic starting XI: Bain, Taylor, Ajer, Kenny, Duffy, Brown, McGregor, Turnbull, Rogic, Edouard, Christie.

Bench: Barkas, Ajeti, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Ralston, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Laxalt.
