Celtic team v Kilmarnock confirmed as Neil Lennon makes Vasilis Barkas call

Vasilis Barkas will make his Celtic debut today against Kilmarnock.

Last weekend's 5-1 victory over Hamilton Accies at Celtic Park came too early for the Greek keeper, but he's in from the start for today's match against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Odsonne Edouard scored a hat-trick in that opening fixture, and the French striker starts upfront again.

There's no place in the squad for Leigh Griffiths.

The likes of Albian Ajeti and Steven Fletcher have been mentioned in connection with Celtic in recent days, and manager Neil Lennon said: “We have been linked with a few [strikers] so it's obviously an area we want to add in.

"We are spinning a few plates and if we can get a quality one in it will help us. It would be really good to add another one, just for squad depth and competition."
