Celtic team news v West Ham revealed as Ange Postecoglou goes strong for Hammers test

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has named his team to face West Ham.

The Hoops take on the Hammers at Celtic Park in a pre-season friendly that falls in the middle of their Champions League double header with Midtjylland.

Nir Bitton was sent off on Tuesday night while Liel Abada got Celtic's only goal in a 1-1 draw to keep the tie in the balance heading into the second leg on Wednesday.

West Ham gaffer David Moyes spent time at Celtic as a player and has been linked with the manager's job on occasion over the years.

And Postecoglou has gone strong and it could even be the team that starts on Wednesday night that is lining up for the Hoops.

Vasilis Barkas made a massive mistake on Tuesday night but he's back between the sticks. Dane Murray replaces Bitton in defence and is joined by Anthony Ralston, Stephen Welsh and Greg Taylor.

New skipper Callum McGregor starts with Ismaila Soro behind a three of Ryan Christie, David Turnbull and Liel Abada, with Odsonne Edouard up front.
