Celtic team news v St Mirren revealed as Ryan Christie returns and Odsonne Edouard starts

Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team to take on St Mirren this afternoon with Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie returning to the side.

Celtic are looking for a sixth win on the spin against the Saints and Postecoglou has gone heavy on the attacking options.

James Forrest and Tom Rogic drop out but the return of Christie - who registered three assists in his last appearance against Dundee - looks promising.

Kyogo Furuhashi led the line against AZ Alkmaar during the week but he will play in the three behind the striker here alongside Christie and Liel Abada.

Edouard leads the line as he looks to revitalise his Celtic career.

Joe Hart is between the sticks as expected and the back four remains unchanged with Carl Starfelt and Stephen Welsh pairing up in the middle once more.

Anthony Ralston starts at right-back with new signing Josip Juranovic unable to be registered in time.

But interestingly there is no place in the squad for James McCarthy who appears to have picked up an injury.

Celtic team : Hart; Ralston, Starfelt, Welsh, Taylor; Turnbull, McGregor; Abada, Christie, Kyogo; Edouard
