Celtic team news revealed v Rangers as James Forrest returns for John Kennedy's side

Celtic interim-boss John Kennedy has named his team to face Rangers in the final derby of the season.

The Hoops are desperate to win their first Glasgow derby of the season and end Rangers unbeaten run that could see them match Brendan Rodgers' invincible side of four years ago.

And Kennedy has made just two changes from the side which drew 1-1 at Pittodrie against Aberdeen in their last game 11 days ago.

Crashing out of the Scottish Cup meant Celtic had a free weekend last time out and extra time to prepare for this one and they've got Forrest back from his injury.

There's one other change as Kristoffer Ajer also returns from the injury he picked up in the Scottish Cup defeat at Ibrox with Nir Bitton dropping to the bench.

It means Scott Bain starts between the sticks, with Jonjoe Kenny, Stephen Welsh, Ajer and Greg Taylor making up the back four.

The midfield sees a slight switch to 4-2-3-1 with Scott Brown making his last appearance in this derby and Callum McGregor starting alongside him.

Forrest starts on the right with David Turnbull in at no. 10 and Moi Elyounoussi on the left hand side.

Leigh Griffiths and Ryan Christie are among the subs.

FULL TEAM: Bain, Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Taylor, Brown, McGregor, Forrest, Turnbull, Elyounoussi, Edouard

Subs: Barkas, Bitton, Griffiths, Ajeti, Soro, Christie, Johnston, Ralston, Laxalt
