Celtic target Shane Duffy boards flight as brother posts image of Celtic badge

Shane Duffy appears to be moving closer to completing his Celtic move.

The defender has been repeatedly linked with a move to Celtic, and now activity on both Duffy and his brother's Instagram accounts suggests a move could be imminent.

Speaking last week, Celtic boss Neil Lennon said: "I think there's common knowledge that there has been interest that's been expressed.

"That's all it is."

The defender has this morning uploaded an image to Instagram from a flight, with the caption "LET'S GO".

That was followed by his brother Tony uploading a Celtic badge to his Instagram story.

The 28-year-old currently has three years remaining of his contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. West Ham, West Brom and Burnley are also believed to be interested in securing his services.

Duffy has been capped 33 times by his country, scoring three times.

It's believed that Celtic will also seal a deal for David Turnbull this week.

The Scottish Sun report that Turnbull will join Lennon's side for £3m from Motherwell.

The 21-year-old midfielder's move to the Premiership champions last June fell through after a knee problem was discovered during his medical.
