Celtic supporters unite as representative body formed to hold club to account

Celtic supporters have united to create the Celtic Fans Collective representative body.

The new group - led by a steering group including fan media, supporter groups and active support groups - has been started to hold the Parkhead club to account.

Celtic supporters have campaigned against club chiefs in recent weeks after elimination from the Champions League and a lack of investment during the summer transfer window.

The Celtic Fans Collective have stated a key objective will be forcing change at the club at board level with the aim to remove Peter Lawwell, Chris McKay and Michael Nicholson from their respective roles.

The group will also seek to build an informed case for a Fan Advisory Board at Celtic and obtain "credible, transparent, and comprehensive answers" to seven questions issued to the board in an Open Letter earlier this month.
