Leigh Griffiths has been celebrating Celtic's nine in a row league title by cooking on a Hoops-themed barbecue at home.
The 29-year-old was awarded his Premiership winning medals on Monday after SPFL clubs unanimously agreed to end the season early amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the historic nine in a row victory, the striker has been drinking in his success at the comfort of his home as the country remains under lockdown restrictions.
Griffiths and his partner Caitlyn Melville made the most of the warm weather yesterday by bringing out a Celtic-branded barbecue for the occasion.
It features engravings of the club crest and 1967 - which is marked within the shape of a European Cup trophy in memory of the club’s victory of the competition more than 50 years ago.
The barbecue is surrounded by engravings of his children’s names and the number nine which he wears for the Parkhead outfit.
Caitlyn took to Instagram to reveal the barbecue, she wrote: “A little BBQ on this seems appropriate.”
The 2019-20 season marked a return to regular football for Griffiths after taking time out to resolve issues in his personal life.
He scored nine goals in 21 league appearances during Celtic’ s run to the club’s ninth consecutive top tier win in a row.
The Hoops nine in a row achievement matches previous record set by the club during the 1963-74 season, in addition to Rangers ninth consecutive title winning season in 1996-97.
