The great Celtic rebuild has been the subject for many months with supporters primed for a complete revamp in the aftermath of the club's failed 10 In A Row.
Neil Lennon has departed and Peter Lawwell will as Dominic McKay oversees a changing of the guard that will include a new manager and director of football coming on board.
Eddie Howe remains the favourite to become the next boss but nothing is guaranteed with major decisions still to be made both on and off the pitch.
And Celtic appear to have a remake within a remake and the very real prospect of needing, at least, three new strikers for next season.
Odsonne Edouard appears to have served his Parkhead time and he's landed a new agent with only 12 months remaining on his current deal. Leicester and Arsenal are primed and waiting.
Patryk Kilmala is closing in on a £3.5m move to New York Red Bulls while Leigh Griffiths is awaiting to find out if the club will activate a one-year extension.
And that's not even including Albian Ajeti - the £5m West Ham flop who likely will get at least one more look in the summer when a new manager comes in.
The good news for Celtic is there are options for a team famed for having players at the top end of the pitch to get supporters exited.
Record Sport runs the rule over the players who could arrive in the summer in a bid to bolster a squad ahead of a defining season.
Top tier (Edouard replacement)
Josh King (Everton)

Brendan Rodgers' rip-roaring Celtic tenure started fast with a 15,000-strong welcome party before he quickly landed Moussa Dembele as his marquee signing. The free agent from Fulham set the tone and the capture of Josh King would be a similar statement of intent from the Parkhead side. This signing feels very much dependent on Howe being the next boss due to his close bond the pair developed during a wildly successful time at Bournemouth together. But King has struggled to make an impact at Everton so far with no goals and he's been reduced to the role of late sub to add fresh legs in the closing stages. The Norway international is a free agent in the summer.
Jonson Clarke-Harris (Peterborough)

Top tier to some Celtic fans isn't a striker plying his trade for a team in the third division of English football. But Peterborough aren't your usual lower league side. Yes, owner and chairman double act Barry Fry and Darragh McAnthony are famous self publicists but their transfer track is worth tooting their own horn for. Celtic missed out on Ivan Toney when they plumped for Albian Ajeti and the 23-year-old headed to Brentford where he has netted an eye-popping 26 goals in the Championship. Clarke-Harris joined Peterborough from Bristol Rovers before Toney departed - a sign of the joined-up thinking taking place at London Road. And he hasn't disappointed. Clarke-Harris has scored 27 goals in League One this season with a shot accuracy rate of 52 per cent and a conversion rate of 29 per cent - both inside the top three inside the division.
Potential starter (Griffiths replacement)
Kevin Nisbet (Hibs)
Surprisingly, the Scotland international's goal against Rangers in Sunday's 2-1 defeat was only his third since before Christmas. The transfer drama and the failed Birmingham City signing push was unfortunate but anyone watching the 24-year-old at Ibrox will have been buoyed by his display even before his late consolation for Hibs. The former Dunfermline star is excellent at leading the line and finding pockets of space to allow fellow forwards Christian Doidge and Martin Boyle to wreak havoc. This isn't some goalgetter who doesn't have anything else to offer teams - Nisbet is arguably at his best when asked to do the dirty stuff. His all-around efforts should be lauded but he has dipped from the incredible average of three shots per game he managed during his first three months at Easter Road. Contracted until 2024, Hibs wouldn't let him depart on the cheap.
Billy Sharp (Sheffield United)

He's been a name that's been linked with Celtic over the years and he would fill the role Griffiths role if the Scotland international ends his seven-year Parkhead stay. Sharp might be 35 but he stills look piercing when he's on the pitch. He has one year left at Brammal Lane and many would view him as a great option when they return to the Championship but Celtic could use a veteran option who knows his role perfectly. Sharp's won't be kicking up fuss if he's not playing every week and he offers guile and ingenuity in the final third. Lubo Moravcik and Roy Keane are just a couple of the golden oldies from years gone by who proved they had something to offer. Despite limited game time - he has managed five goals already this season for the Blades.
Worth a gamble (Klimala replacement)
Serdar Dursun (Darmstadt)
Dursun is an analytics wonderboy who is enjoying the best season of his career at the age of 29. He's led a nomadic existence across German football but he's come alive at Darmstadt in Bundesliga 2. Maybe this is where Celtic have been going wrong - Vakoun Bayo and Klimala are two recent examples of players of unpolished players finding Parkhead a bad match when it comes to a finishing school, Dursun is a wily veteran who is putting it together at the right time. He's 6ft 3n and is averaging a bonkers 5.2 shots per game over the past six weeks. He's an impending free agent so he appears a risk worth taking. Dursun will never earn you a major sell-on fee but his career is on an upward trajectory and has enough confidence coursing through his veins to try the cheekiest 'donkey' penalty that even Jorginho wouldn't dare attempt. He's believed to be on both Derby and Nottingham Forest's wishlist.
Jerry Yates (Blackpool)

The free-scoring Blackpool forward has been linked with Rangers in recent days and while Celtic fans often cringe when they are in the mix for players wanted by their great rivals, any blushes could be worth it as Yates seems the next striker set to make the leap from League One.
He enjoyed a fruitful spell on loan at Swindon while during his Rotherham days but he has really made the breakthrough on the seaside. Yates is very much an all-actions strike but his 18 goals this season reinforce a player who stays calm when he has the chance to hit the net.
