In the end, a solitary goal was enough for the 19-year-old to make an instant impact for the League Two outfit.
Aitchison is the youngest goalscorer in Celtic's history, netting on his debut during a 7-0 win over Motherwell in 2016.
Since then he's made only a handful of appearance for the Hoops and has spent time on-loan at Alloa and Dumbarton in a bid for valuable first team experience.
It seems he's already endeared himself to Rovers fans with @scroofy writing on Twitter: "When is he getting a statue?"
