Ayr United have confirmed the signing of Celtic defender Lenny Agbaire on loan until the end of the season, subject to SFA approval.
The 19-year-old will join former Hoops captain Scott Brown’s side at Somerset Park as they battle for promotion to the top-flight.

Ayr currently sit second in the Scottish Championship, four points behind league leaders Falkirk.
A statement shared by the club on X read: “The club are delighted to announced the signing of 19-year-old defender Lenny Agbaire on loan from Celtic, subject to SFA approval.

The teenager is under contract at Celtic until the summer of 2025 and has become a regular starter for the B Team, helping the Hoops to Scottish Youth Cup victory in 2023.
