Coatbridge ace Stephen Welsh netted the second goal of his Celtic career to help the Hoops beat Hearts 3-2 in the Premier Sports Cup.
The defender scored after 34 minutes heading home after a cross from Odsonne Edouard, who had opened the scoring in the last 16 clash five minutes earlier.
Hearts pulled one back from a Liam Boyce penalty before Kyogo Furuhashi struck to restore the two-goal advantage. Aaron McEneff then grabbed a late consolation for the Jambos.
It's the first time the 21-year-old has found the net since his maiden Celtic goal in February last season, when he scored the winner in a 2-1 win over Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Earlier in the season, former St Andrew's High School pupil Welsh spoke of both his and his family's frustration that Covid prevented them from sharing the joy of his first-ever goal for the club.
But today's effort came in front of a packed Parkhead and has lined up a quarter-final tie.
Elsewhere in the Premier Sports Cup, another Lanarkshire lad was on target as Cambuslang's Kevin Nisbet bagged the second goal in Hibernian's 2-0 win over Championship side Kilmarnock, having also set up Kyle Magennis for the opener.
