Motherwell's Tony Watt has won the plaudits of former Rangers forward pair Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd after his first half of the season.
The striker is the club and Premiership's top scorer with nine goals following a strong campaign so far at Fir Park, Graham Alexander's men sitting fourth.
But Watt's relationship with the 'Well support has deteriorated in the last week after rejecting a new contract and now looking likely to complete a move to league rivals Dundee United.
His current Motherwell contract expires next summer. Miller has selected Watt in his team of the season ahead of Celtic's Jota due to his prolific form.
He told Go Radio: "I mentioned Jota but he's on the bench, and I'll tell you why. The front three I've gone for is Martin Boyle, who has been sensational and electric. Kyogo, it's obvious.
"And I'm going to go for Tony Watt based on the fact Jota has played less than half of the league games for Celtic.
"He's missed a bit of football, and Tony Watt is the league's top scorer playing for Motherwell. Fantastic."
Boyd meanwhile has also selected the current Motherwell striker as part of a front three, and reckons his exit would be sore for the Steelmen.
The former Rangers star told Sky Sports: "My front three features players from three different clubs. First up it's Martin Boyle who has been excellent for Hibs.
"The versatility and flexibility he has is really impressive, he can play up-front, right wing-back and right midfield - he's done really well this season.
"Motherwell will be gutted if they lose Tony Watt. It wasn't so long ago he couldn't get a game and now we're speaking about him getting back in the Scotland squad.
"I think that shows how well he has done in the opening few months of the season. And finally, Kyogo who has been a breath of fresh air since he came to Scottish football."
