A major police investigation is underway after a car near the home of Celtic star Leigh Griffiths was targeted in a firebomb attack.
Emergency services were called to the scene on in Bothwell, South Lanarkshire, at around 11.30pm on Monday.

Images from the scene show the carcass of a burnt out car in the driveway of a plush home and extensive damage to the wall of a neighbouring property, believed to be the home of the 30-year-old Hoops striker.
One eyewitness to the scene reports Griffiths' girlfriend Caitlyn Melville was forced to flee the house.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they sent three appliances to the scene and that a nearby property had also been damaged as a result of the blaze.
A source connected to Griffiths confirmed the vehicle fire incident is not related to Leigh in any way.
They added: "This incident is not related to Leigh in any way and thankfully the family are all well."
It is not known who the torched vehicle belongs to.
Police Scotland confirmed the attack is being treated as ‘suspicious’ and are appealing for information
A force spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a car on fire at an address in Bothwell around 11.35pm on Monday, 16 November, 2020.


“The fire, which is being treated as suspicious, was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. An investigation is at an early stage.
“Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area around this time to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious by calling 101, quoting reference 3820 of 16 November 2020."

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.35pm on Monday, November 16 to reports of a car fire in Bothwell, South Lanarkshire.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene to extinguish the fire which had also affected a nearby property.
"There were no reported casualties.
"Firefighters worked to make the area safe before leaving."
