Celtic defender Alistair Johnston has blasted an airline after a chaotic journey left him stranded in the “wrong city” and without his luggage following Canada’s World Cup exit.
The 27-year-old featured in all five matches as Canada made history by reaching the knockout stages for the first time, before their campaign ended with a 3-0 defeat to Morocco in the last 16.
Learned my lesson today. Never fly @FlyFrontier even if it’s the only direct flight available. Genuinely look for multi-stop redeye flights before flying with them. I’m still not sure where my bags are and I’m in the wrong city somehow 🤣🙃

He wrote: “Learned my lesson today. Never fly @FlyFrontier even if it’s the only direct flight available.
