Celtic star David Turnbull Rangers and Alkmaar confidence as Ange Postecoglou's attacking plan to continue

Hat-trick hero David Turnbull insists Celtic are full of confidence ahead of two massive fixtures.

Ange Postecoglou's side travel to Holland to face AZ Alkmaar on Thursday before facing fierce rivals Rangers at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Celtic have been in scintillating recent form as they acclimatise to Postecoglou's attacking tactical approach.

The Parkhead side have scored 20 goals in their last five games and Turnbull netted a hat-trick in the 6-0 win over St Mirren.

The Wishaw ace is thriving at Celtic and he admits that they back themselves against anyone in their current form.

“It’s a huge week for us and we’ll focus on Thursday first," Turnbull said. "They’re a good side, they played well here.

“We have to combat that and play the way we know we can. We want to get the result we need to qualify.

“We feel we’re ready to go and win both games. It’s a huge week, Thursday, Sunday, against two good teams.

“But the way we’re playing at the moment, we fancy ourselves against anyone.

“It’s just about taking that into the games and we’re looking forward to it.

“The manager won’t change the way we’re playing for these two games. This is the way we want to play.

“He’s drilled that into us so we’ll go and play the way we have been looking to get a result.”
