Daizen Maeda is convinced his sensational scoring run at the end of the season, which helped Celtic to the double, can continue for Japan at the World Cup.
The Hoops ace is preparing at Japan's Nashville training base for his country's World Cup opener against the Netherlands on Sunday. Japan also face Tunisia and Sweden in their group.
Maeda ended the season on fire for Celtic by netting nine goals in his last seven games as Celtic stormed to an unexpected title win and Scottish Cup triumph.
And he's determined to keep his form going at what will be his second World Cup with his country. He said: "I am approaching this World Cup with a lot more confidence than I did four years ago.
