Celtic squads' attitude slammed as Hearts hero insists they WILL end Neil Lennon's reign by winning Scottish Cup final

Ian Black believes Hearts will end Neil Lennon’s reign as Celtic manager by winning the Scottish Cup final - because their opponents’ attitude is all wrong.

Robbie Neilson ’s team face The Hoops at Hampden in less than a fortnight in the showpiece occasion and will fancy their chances of causing an upset given Celtic ’s recent form.

Lennon has been backed by the club’s board and will be given until the Old Firm game in January to try and turn their fortunes around.

A historic quadruple treble is on the line against the Tynecastle side, and if he loses that then it’s doubtful he’ll get much longer to attempt to reel Rangers in and achieve the holy grail that is a tenth successive Scottish Premiership title.

Black, who was Man of the Match when Hearts last lifted the trophy with a 5-1 demolition of rivals Hibs in the final, is confident his boyhood team WILL triumph where they failed 18 months ago and that will spell the end for Lennon at Celtic Park.

“I believe Hearts will win as I don't believe enough of the Celtic players in their dressing room have the correct attitude and will to win,” he told the Daily Record.

“I don't whether that attitude is a refusal to back the manager or if it's an attitude to just turn up and get through the games and pick up a wage."
