Celtic squad revealed as Jota wildcard offers Ange Postecoglou extra options

Celtic will be without Giorgos Giakoumakis for their pivotal clash with Dundee United on Sunday as he nurses the calf injury suffered just before his Parkhead debut on Thursday.

Ange Postecoglou was left cursing his luck after the 3-0 over Raith Rovers and no wonder as he is now without the Greek striker, Callum McGregor, Kyogo, Greg Taylor, James Forrest and Christopher Jullien.

That could lead him to getting creative in bid to keep options in reserve, such as Tom Rogic, while also carrying the fight to Tam Courts' dogged side in Glasgow's east end from the off.

Josip Juranovic can play in multiple positions and perhaps the chance in the base of midfield to rest James McCarthy ahead of Thursday's clash with Bayer Leverkusen is an option.

Nir Bitton and Ismaila Soro are more traditional choices but the new signing is playing well and this would allow in-form Anthony Ralston to remain at right back. Liam Scales could earn his first start.

Charilie Mulgrew and Marc McNulty are missing for the visitors and they are looking for an instant response after Wedensday's sobering Premier Sports Cup quarter final defeat to Hibs on home turf.
