Celtic squad revealed as Josip Juranovic transfer exit throws up defensive balancing act with 2 others out

The imminent exit of Josip Juranovic to Union Berlin will likely see a defensive reshuffle for Celtic against Morton.

Cameron Carter-Vickers again misses out for the champions as a precaution and Anthony Ralston is unavailable as he awaits scans on a back issue. Dougie Imrie has no fresh injury concerns for Morton’s trip to Celtic Park as he looks to be part of another winning Ton side at Parkhead, having scored the winner for the Cappielow club in a League Cup clash back in 2013. That means Alexandro Bernabei could start at left back in place of Juranovic.

The Premiership champions have reached at least the semi finals of this competition in six of the last seven season while winning it in four consecutive years. Ange Postecoglou admits changes are likely but don't expect sweeping alterations to his starting XI. Record Sport runs the rule over how he could line up.
