Scott Brown is expected to lead Celtic out against his future employers at Pittodrie this evening as the Hoops count down the matches to the end of a dismal campaign.
The legendary skipper has a maximum four games left with the Parkhead side before joining the Stephen Glass revolution in the north east as a player-coach next season.
That move is on hold for now though with Brown preparing for his last taste of Pittodrie as an opposing player - should John Kennedy decide to stick with him in the midfield.
Kennedy could be tempted to make changes after the weekend Scottish Cup exit to Rangers which consigned Celtic to their first trophy-less season in 11 years.
A question mark hangs over Odsonne Edouard ’s future and his tame outing at Ibrox on Sunday could see the Frenchman make way for fresh legs in attack.
Tom Rogic returns to the squad for the trip north having missed out on Sunday.
But the game comes too soon for James Forrest and Mikey Johnston, while defender Christopher Jullien is out long term with a knee injury.
Kennedy said: “Tom Rogic had issues the day before the Rangers game, in the warm-up he was struggling a bit and couldn’t take part in the game.
"He’s come through training today so he’ll be available tomorrow which is good news.
"Out with that, James Forrest will still be missing for this midweek, but will hopefully be fine afterwards. The same with Mikey Johnston.
"We’ll make some changes in the coming games but with a consistency to go out to win the games and represent the club properly.”
