Celtic squad revealed as 'conservative' Giorgos Giakoumakis approach could hand Albian Ajeti golden opportunity

It's a brave new world for Celtic fans after losing two big players on Deadline Day and a chief executive just this week.

The Parkhead faithful said their goodbyes to Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie, who have made for Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively.

And Dominic McKay followed them out the exit door after just 72 days as the club's CEO.

But Ange Postecoglou has moved to ensure that at least there are adequate replacements on the park.

Greek striker Giorgos Giakoumakis has arrived from VVV-Venlo while winger Jota is also in the door on a season-long loan from Benfica just as star man Kyogo Furuhashi returns from action with the Japanese national team carrying an injury.

Postecoglou seems ready to chuck the the Portuguese winger into the mix against Ross County while Liam Scales and Cameron Carter-Vickers could also feature.

But he hinted the club are going to be more "conservative" with Giakoumakis before taking on Malky Mackay's Highlanders and that could pave the way to give Albian Ajeti a rare chance of a start.
