Celtic skipper Scott Brown raffles Old Firm strip from win over Rangers to raise funds for cancer girl

Celtic skipper Scott Brown has donated his strip worn during Sunday's Old Firm win against Rangers to raise funds for a girl with cancer.

The Hoops captain has signed the top and handed it over for auction for a youngster battling brain cancer.

Former Footballer and pundit Tam McManus is running the Twitter auction, and Celtic fans have bid more than £1700 on the auction, which closes on Sunday.

Tam wrote on Twitter : "Delighted that Scott Brown is going to donate the strip he wore against Rangers last week to help raise funds for a young girl i know who has brain cancer.

"I am going to auction this strip on Twitter so please either tweet me a bid or DM me.

"Bidding closes at 1pm on Sunday".

Brown led the Hoops to a 2-1 win over Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday in a game that was not short of drama.
