Celtic signing Albian Ajeti verdict from West Ham fans

West Ham fans have mixed feeling as Albian Ajeti leaves their club for Celtic.

The Scottish champions have completed a £5m move for the Swiss international, who made 12 appearances for the Hammers after arriving in 2019.

Ajeti has signed a four-year deal for Neil Lennon's side, and will hope to rediscover his form after failing to score in his time at the London Stadium.

Here's what West Ham supporters have been saying about Ajeti.

"Really wish we gave Ajeti more of a chance" - @Chaz_B_cole

"I think he deserved more of a chance really" - @WestHam_Central

"He was awful, says it all Celtic is his only option" - @RB_Younger

"We can’t expect someone who comes on 5 minutes every two or three months to have a good impact" - @JoaoNunoSousa_

"Typical West Ham, a player with a good record in other leagues is brought in for a season and sold claiming he wasn’t good enough" - @MattCrowe__

"He had a bit of playing time and didn’t wow anyone, I’m guessing he had plenty of opportunities to impress in training too" - @JamesCleverley1

"On the short viewing we saw, you could just see he was a bit lost" - @andywellie

"He was young and had a lot of potential. Bad decision" - @domchandler8

Ajeti could make his Premiership debut when Celtic play their next league match on August 22 against Dundee United at Tannadice.
