Celtic set for Europa League switch but Sarajevo venue change offers home comforts

Celtic's Europa League playoff tie against Sarajevo won't actually be played in the city - and the visitors should feel right at home after a venue change.

Neil Lennon 's side face a one-off tie in Bosnia to make it to the group stages of the competition, having defeated Riga in the third qualifying round.

But the Premiership champions won't actually be playing in the capital, as UEFA rules have forced a change of venue.

The Stadium Asim Ferhatović - Hase doesn't meet the standards for the tie so, as with with the game against Buducnost Podgorica the game will be moved to Zenica, about an hour north-west of the capital.

And Scott Brown and co should feel right at home because the stadium is home to a team named Čelik.

Admittedly the name, which is Bosnian for "steel" and an ode to the city's industry, is pronounced "chell-ik" but seeing the word around the stadium will provide a taste of home if nothing else.

NK Čelik Zenica have won the Bosnian top flight on three occasions, but were relegated at the end of last season.
