Celtic set AGM date as fans get chance to quiz Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon

Celtic have announced that their AGM will be held on November 27, giving fans a chance to quiz chief executive Peter Lawwell and manager Neil Lennon .

Last month the club revealed their financial figures for the 2018-19 season, which were impacted by a failure to qualify for the Champions League group stages.

Revenue fell £18.2m from £101.6m to £83.4m, with profit also down from £17.3m to £11.3m.

In a release to the London Stock Exchange the club has confirmed that the AGM will be held next month.

Celtic announced: " Celtic plc confirms that its Annual General Meeting will be held at Celtic Park at 11.30 am on Wednesday 27 November 2019.

“Formal notice of the meeting will be issued to shareholders shortly, alongside the Company's Annual Report & Accounts which will also be available on the Company's website.”

Chief executive Peter Lawwell will be in attendance, meaning fans who own shares in the club will be given the chance to put their questions to the Celtic Park supremo.

Manager Neil Lennon is also likely to be there, having been appointed as the permanent replacement for Brendan Rodgers at the end of last season.
