Celtic see further fixture shuffle as Motherwell Euro involvement changes date for Parkhead clash

Motherwell's involvement in the Europa League has seen their game away to Celtic rescheduled.

The Steelmen kick off their European campaign in the first qualifying round and will face either Glentoran of Northern Ireland or the Faroe Islands' Torshavn at home.

With that one-legged affair pencilled in for August 27, it means their trip to Celtic Park to take on the Scottish champions the following weekend has been put back by 24 hours.

The game - originally set for a 3pm kick-off on August 29 - will now be played at the same time on August 30.

Motherwell are still seeking their first point of the season after defeats to Ross County and Dundee United, and they face Livingston on Wednesday night.

The rearrangement comes after Neil Lennon 's side face fixture chaos following the postponement of two Premiership matches.

Their games against St Mirren and Aberdeen were both called off on Tuesday after Boli Bolingoli travelled to Spain and did not quarantine on his return.
