Rangers hero Barry Ferguson believes Odsonne Edouard can be better than Moussa Dembele.
The Celtic striker has enjoyed a blistering start to the season with nine goals for the Parkhead side.
The 21-year-old has also been starring for France U-21s including a sublime hat-trick against Slovakia during the international break.
And Record Sport columnist Ferguson reckons his ceiling is higher than fellow compatriot Dembele , who moved to Lyon for £20million last summer.
He told PLZ Soccer: "Yeah, he's a player that could potentially be better than Dembele. I have said that a number of times.
"I've always been impressed. When he is on his game I think he is unstoppable at times.
"He obviously continues it when he goes away with the French U-21 squad and if he keeps producing performances like that he will be in the first-team squad."
Edouard 's three goals for his country last night means he has now scored nine goals in four appearances for Les Espoirs as he continues to live up to his £9m price tag.
