Celtic's potential last 32 Europa League opponents as another Serie A big gun awaits

Celtic's defeat to Cluj on Thursday barely raised a shrug among supporters.

After all, Neil Lennon 's side had long since secured their place in the Europa League last 32.

The Hoops' win over Rennes last time out confirmed them as Group E winners and the skeleton squad that travelled to Romania was a mix of youth and players needing minutes.

Cluj ran out 2-0 winners to join Celtic in the knockout stage, knocking out Serie A heavyweights Lazio in the process.

The final group stage picture has now taken shape as well as the teams dropping in from the Champions League .

Finishing as group winners ensures Celtic will steer clear of the four best sides parachuting in from Europe's top tier competition.

Also, they cannot be drawn against any of the teams who also won their Europa League section, or against Cluj who finished second behind them.

Nor is there any chance of a date with Rangers, as teams from the same country are kept apart.

With all that in mind, here's who they could be paired with when all is revealed on Monday.
