Celtic's mega-money transfer valuation for Daizen Maeda 'emerges'

Celtic's valuation of Daizen Maeda, reportedly a mega-money transfer fee, has seemingly emerged.

The Japan striker, who was brought to Celtic for just £1m by Ange Postecoglou, scored a sensational 33 goals in 52 appearances last season.

His red-hot form in front of goal has understandably alerted clubs in need of a goalscorer to his services.

And reports in Turkey claim that the likes of Fenerbahce have been told he will cost £21m to buy this summer.

Sozcu claims that Jose Mourinho's club admires the frontman and view him as a potential replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin.

The report states that Celtic values Maeda at  €25m (£21m).

Maeda was played through the middle as a striker to fill the void of Kyogo, who departed the Hoops in January for Stade Rennes.
