Celtic's Jota dons vintage 'bumblebee' Hoops shirt as fans go wild during Glasgow pub visit

Celtic's Jota Filipe has shared more pictures of himself in an iconic Glasgow pub popular with Hoops fans.

Stepping foot into The Brazen Head, the winger uploaded a series of retro snaps to his social media with him sitting down in a number of poses alongside a member of staff.

Captioning the post he wrote: "School trip to the 90’s " followed by a film emoji. It is said to be in reference to the away shirt from the season 1997/98 term he is wearing, when Celtic won the double under Wim Jansen.

The Portuguese donned a vintage Celtic shirt known as 'the bumblebee' and fans were quick to call him the "most likeable Celtic player ever."

The series of retro snaps comes as the winger further cemented his Parkhead hero status during the weekend by scoring the winner in a 1-0 Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers.

Before the showdown, the Hoops hero was spotted in the south side pub just days before his Hampden success where he was snapped in the pub, located on Cathcart Road, with more staff members who were happy to see him.

Sporting his day-to-day attire and out of Hoops gear, he was snapped alongside Brazenhead staff with them uploading it to Facebook alongside the caption: "On the Brazen wing" with many quickly having the viral song 'Jota on the wing' stuck in their heads which was performed by Ellie Dixon at one of their recent games.

Glasgow-based rapper Bemz, who covered Jota on the Wing, said: The pub, the kit, the player. Sensational content.

Another questioned: "What’s it like being perfect?"

"Hi mate gonnae no leave mate cheers much appreciated mate x" said a third.
