Celtic's Green Brigade ultras brand board 'parasites, liars, and charlatans' in new protest

Celtic ultras the Green Brigade have continued their protest outside the club's stadium and laid into the board over their January review.

The club had promised they would review Neil Lennon's position in January but no results of that have ever been disclosed and fans are angry.

They feel Lennon should be removed from his position after falling so far behind Rangers in the league and have held countless protests so far this season.

That resulted in clashes with police outside the stadium towards the end of 2020 with the club releasing a statement criticising those involved for allegedly throwing missiles at supporters.

And now the Green Brigade have branded the board as 'parasites, liars and charlatans' after unveiling a new banner outside Celtic Park.

Last week, they had a banner outside the club's training ground and held it at a place where they were sure the players and staff would see it.

It had simply read: "Lennon Out" and was joined on social media by a statement calling for the Hoops boss to stand by his comments made in October when he said he would quit if things deteriorated.

Celtic are in action against St Mirren on Wednesday night with the opportunity to close the gap on Rangers to 18 points with a game in hand.
