Celtic's Europa League foes Lille knocked off top spot as Christophe Galtier underlines fatal flaw

Lille boss Christophe Galtier has pinpointed the weakness his side will have to focus on ahead of their match against Celtic.

The Ligue 1 team host Neil Lennon's men in the Europa League on Thursday, with the visitors aiming to bounce back from a run of three games without victory.

Galtier's side were leapfrogged at the top of the league by PSG after being held 1-1 by Nice, and he praised the team's character while singling out the area in which they need to improve.

Kasper Dolberg flicked the ball past Mike Maignan five minutes into the second half to put Nice ahead, before Burak Yilmaz drew Lille level in the 58th minute with a volley from Luiz Araujo’s cross.

They remain unbeaten in the league with five wins and three draws from their opening eight fixtures, but PSG are in front thanks to their superior goal difference.

Galtier said: "Sometimes you have to settle for a point. We showed great character in a game that's hard to analyse in the heat of the moment but I think a point is fair.

"In the first half our positioning in attack wasn't good, we tried to correct that in the second half by playing more between the lines but without creating enough danger.

"Now we'll plan for Thursday's game with Celtic."
