Celtic's clash with Kilmarnock rescheduled after Europa League draw with Copenhagen

Celtic's Premiership fixture with Kilmarnock in February has been moved due to their Europa League first leg clash with Copenhagen.

The Hoops will face off against the Danish side in the last 32 after the draw was made on Monday morning.

Celtic were meant to host Killie on Saturday, February 22, but the match has now been pushed back 24 hours as they travel back from Denmark after the first leg on Thursday, February 20.

The champions will now face the Ayrshire side on Sunday, February 23 with a 3pm kick-off at Parkhead.

The return leg with Copenhagen will take place on Thursday, February 27.

It remains to be seen who will be in charge of Kilmarnock when the match comes around after the shock sacking of Angelo Alessio on Tuesday.

The Italian arrived in the summer after replacing Scotland boss Steve Clarke, but was relieved of his duties despite lying in fifth position in the table.
