Celtic have learned how much they will have to pay to sign Cagliari defender Adam Obert.
Although a centre-half by trade, Obert made the majority of his Serie A appearances last season at left-back.
It was reported on Wednesday that Celtic want to sign the 22-year-old, who has played 11 times for his country, Slovakia.
Now, Italian outlet Calcio Casteddu claims that the Parkhead club and Royal Antwerp of Belgium have made proposals to sign Obert, both in the region of €3.5 million. Cagliari, however, have set an asking price of between €6-7m.

Martin O'Neill compares Celtic's current transfer model to the 'free rein' he enjoyed
Although the gap in valuation between the clubs is significant, the report states that 'unexpected developments cannot be ruled out'.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has publicly stated that following the loan arrival of Jahmai Simpson-Pusey from Manchester City, his club won't move to bring in another central defender this summer.
With Obert playing a large chunk of games at left-back last season, he could be brought in to provide cover for Kieran Tierney after Hayato Inamura wasn't even on the bench on flag day.
Celtic travel to face Aberdeen this weekend after starting the season with a home win against St Mirren.
