Celtic reveal FK Sarajevo Champions League opener will be 'free' for season ticket holders

Celtic have revealed their Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo will be available on the season ticket.

Neil Lennon ’s side first face the Bosnian champions away in the first leg on July 9/10 after it was moved from Celtic Park.

And they will then take on Sarajevo at home in Glasgow the following week. The eight in a row champions have made the tie available for "free" to season-book holders.

Responding to a question from a fan on Twitter, supporters liason officer John Paul Taylor replied, "Yes it will be."

Should Celtic progress past Sarajevo in the first qualifying round, they will face either Estonians Nomme Kalju or Macedonians Shkendija in QR2.

This fixture is set for July 23/24.

Lennon’s squad for an assault on Europe and a nine in a row bid is poised to be boosted by the signing of David Turnbull after Motherwell’s rising star performed a U-turn and knocked back a move to Norwich.
