Celtic re-open Parkhead superstore with unique signage as social distancing measures take centre stage

Delighted Celtic superstore staff welcomed back punters today after it opened for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic put the nation into lockdown.

Government guidance allowed all non-essential shops to unshutter provided they have outdoor entrances and exits from yesterday.

The Hoops' shop elected to wait another 24 hours before opening at 9am this morning.

Outlets in shopping malls will remain closed until July 13th due to their positioning inside where COVID-19 can spread more easily.

Fans were greeted by large signs indicating changes to ensure social distancing, including a new one-way system to navigate around the unit.

Bespoke signs featuring hooped figures on the floor encouraged shoppers to maintain the mandated 2 meters while the rule was also explained on the shop-front.

Fans will be encouraged that life is returning to normal somewhat now they can browse for a bargain in their favourite shop, right outside Celtic Park.
