PFA Scotland has announced the nominees for this year’s Women’s Player and Young Player of the Year awards – with Hibernian star Eilidh Adams earning a place on both shortlists.
The 21-year-old forward has been a standout performer for Hibs, who currently sit top of the SWPL, two points ahead of Rangers and three clear of Glasgow City, as the title race approaches its climax.
Adams has been pivotal in Hibs' push for the title, impressing with her goalscoring instincts and dynamic attacking play. She also made her senior Scotland debut earlier this year, earning two caps during UEFA Nations League ties against Austria and the Netherlands.
Joining her on the Player of the Year shortlist is Celtic's Emma Lawton, who has built a reputation as one of the league’s most consistent defenders, combining composure on the ball with a strong physical presence at full-back.
Rangers striker Katie Wilkinson also features after a prolific season in front of goal, with the English forward’s experience and finishing proving key to Rangers' title challenge.

Completing the POTY shortlist is Samantha van Diemen of Glasgow City, the versatile Dutch defender who has brought leadership and steel to the City backline since arriving from the Vrouwen Eredivisie last summer.
In the Young Player of the Year category, Adams is joined by Hearts’ Erin Husband, a composed and intelligent midfielder who has emerged as one of the capital club’s brightest prospects this campaign.
Spartans defender Hannah Jordan rounds off the list after an impressive breakthrough year, establishing herself as a key figure at the back for the Edinburgh side with her reading of the game and calmness under pressure.
The winners will be voted for by players across the SWPL, with the awards ceremony set to take place on May 4.
