Celtic face a tough trip to Tynecastle for new manager Ange Postecoglou 's first league game.
Following the failure to win a 10th Premiership title in a row the Parkhead club are looking to wrest the title back from Rangers at the first time of asking.
Greek-Australian boss Postecoglou is the man tasked with that and he faces Hearts at Tynecastle in an evening kick-off for his first game.
Celtic then welcome Dundee and St Mirren for back-to-back home games before they square off against Steven Gerrard's Rangers.
The city rivals meet at Ibrox on August 28, the first of three meetings before the split.
Rangers visit Celtic on January 2 before the final post split fixture at Ibrox on April 2.
