Celtic pre-season plans revealed as first friendly announced

Celtic are heading to Austria again for their pre-season after minnows SC Pinkafield revealed they are set to play them in June.

The Hoops have paid regular visits to Austrian training camps over the past few years under previous boss Brendan Rodgers and are ready to return again this summer.

And their first game for Scott Brown and Co will be on June 26 against Austrian fourth division side Pinkafield.

Pinkafield sporting director Alex Diridl said: " Celtic are in a summer training camp in nearby Stegersbach.

"They were looking to play against an opponent of our standard and we put our name forward.

"It's crazy we are actually going to be playing against a team like Celtic.
It's just a dream for us."

Pinkafield manager Florian Hotwagner said: "This will be a great experience for all of us and we can't wait to play against Celtic."

The Austrian club are already selling tickets for the match, at 10 Euros, on their website.
