Celtic position leaves radio shock jock incredulous as he also dishes out flak to Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos

Radio shock jock Adrian Durham called Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos into question live on air as the Colombian struggles for form.

But that was nothing compared to his incredulous reaction as he read out Celtic's fourth-placed Premiership position.

There's a sense Ange Postecoglou has his side motoring again and they could well rise higher in the league after clinching a second successive win on the road at Motherwell at the weekend.

Steven Gerrard's men meanwhile floundered in front of goal at home as Hearts took full advantage to snatch a 1-1 draw late on.

It leaves the Jambos unbeaten while the Glasgow gap was cut to four point and Ibrox fans are perplexed as to why their team isn't quite firing on all cylinders like last season's undefeated romp to the title.

Gerrard has called on Morelos to sharpen up and Durham is confused as to why he's not performing but the Parkhead club didn't escape criticism either.

Speaking on talkSPORT's Drive programme, he said: “They bossed possession, if I give you the stats of the game they had 27 shots to Hearts’ five.

“Ten on target, Hearts had four. So Rangers were clearly dominant but it ended up 1-1- because, in the stat that matters, Rangers scored one goal and Hearts scored one as well.

“You have to ask about the fitness and form of Alfredo Morelos and where Rangers and Steven Gerrard are at with him.

“But I’ve been having a conversation with a certain ex-Rangers striker, and you can guess who it is if you want!

“He says, ‘best Rangers have played all season’, ‘Hearts never had an attempt on goal in 80 minutes’, and ‘Rangers battered them.’

“They were among the messages I had from him but the fact is, given Rangers and what they’ve got in the team, they should be beating Hearts and they didn’t.

“So the gap at the top is one point, Rangers at the top, Hearts second, Celtic got a win to move up from sixth to fourth.

“Obviously Dundee United won at Hibs as well, a big win to go third.

“So Celtic are fourth. FOURTH!

“What is going on?”
