Scott Bain - Should save Kristian Dennis' opener, a poor error. 5
Kris Ajer - Didn't get forward often enough as Celtic would have liked. Needs to return to centre-back. 5
Greg Taylor - Committed himself for St Mirren's opener, but Shane Duffy put him in a difficult position. 5
Shane Duffy - Another disaster class from the Irishman. At fault for both St Mirren goals and it's mind-boggling he still has a place in this Celtic side. 2
Nir Bitton - Did well to bring the ball forward that led to Odsonne Edouard's opener, but looks like he has no confidence next to Duffy. Off injured at half time. 4
Ismaila Soro - St Mirren midfield made sure he didn't have lots of time on the ball, lost track of runners from midfield at times. 5
Callum McGregor - Nice burst of pace to set up Edouard, but was outfought in midfield. 5
David Turnbull - One of the bright sparks, always looking to push his team forward. Can't do it all on his own, however. 5
Mohamed Elyounoussi - Had a bright start to the game, but faded before being subbed off. 4
Leigh Griffiths - Hooked at half time after a below-par first half. Very quiet and ineffective. 3
Odsonne Edouard - Partnered Leigh Griffiths and took his goal superbly, but was crowded out more often than not. 5
Subs:
Christie - Provided some energy in midfield, but wasteful with the chances that fell to him. 3
Ajeti - Didn't hold up the ball well enough. 3
Rogic - Was on the ball a lot, but didn't create any chances with it. Poor delivery. 4
Johnston - Couple of chances fell to him, but both straight at the keeper. 4
Welsh - Another solid cameo, needs to be starting for Celtic now. 6
