Bain - Little to do in the first half, but could do nothing about Shaun Rooney's header. 6
Kenny - Didn't get forward nearly often enough and lost Callum Booth as he set up Rooney for St Johnstone's opener. 5
Ajer - Wasn't troubled defensively, but uncharacteristically clumsy on the ball at times. 6
Taylor - Outjumped by Rooney for Saints' goal, but he was left on an island by his team-mates. Did well to fizz in a good cross for Edouard's eventual winner. 6
Duffy - His positioning was questionable for the Perth side's goal and the hosts were able to get some joy as soon as they started to ask him questions in the second half. 4
Brown - Broke up play effectively in the middle of the park and shows no signs of fatigue amid a busy schedule. 6
McGregor - Workman-like display in midfield and started to pull the strings when Celtic went behind. 6
Turnbull - Unusually wasteful in the first half, but kept getting into dangerous areas. 6
Rogic - Continued on from his good performance against St Mirren. The architect of Celtic's best chances in the first half, unlucky to have an effort to clear off the line. Quiet after the break, however. 6
Christie - Heavily involved as he replaced Albian Ajeti in the starting XI. Linked up well with Odsonne Edouard for both goals and executed a clever dummy for the go-ahead strike. 7
Edouard - Struggled in the first half an hour, but came alive from that point on as he finally got some service. A brilliant brace from the striker as he scored in his sixth consecutive match. 8

Elyounoussi - Wasn't involved too much, but some nice work tracking back to see out the win. 4
Griffiths - Wasted a decent chance towards the end with a heavy touch. 3
