Celtic player ratings: Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths inspire fight back, Scott Brown and Nir Bitton poor

Here are Celtic's player ratings after their 2-2 draw with Hibs at Easter Road.

Celtic player ratings

Scott Bain

The keeper was unfortunate as he saved Kevin Nisbet's penalty, but couldn't do anything about Jamie Murphy's follow up. And the same goes for Hibs' second goal. Dealt with everything that he should have. 7

Jeremie Frimpong

The full-back was effectivein the first half, but did not make the same impact after the break. Should have done better when losing out on a header for Hibs' second goal. 5

Kris Ajer

A welcome return after injury and was easily Celtic's best player from the starting XI as he kept Hibs counter attacks at bay in the first half. Not at fault for either goal. 7

Nir Bitton

The defender had a difficult afternoon dealing with Nisbet and Martin Boyle. Lost Nisbet for his goal and was slow to react. 5

Diego Laxalt

Boyle asked plenty of questions of him and was caught out a few times in the first half. But excellent going forward and saved his side with a emphatic finish in stoppage time to rescue a point. 8

Scott Brown

Started the game well as him and Callum McGregor were regularly on the ball, but looked out of sorts in the second half. A clumsy challenge on Boyle to give away a penalty. 5

Callum McGregor

The midfielder had his hands full against Joe Newell and Alex Gogic and wasn't given much space, but started to dictate the play for Celtic's late flurry. 6

Ryan Christie

Celtic's most dangerous player on the first half as he popped up in a varierty of areas. Ofir Marciano denied him on several occasions as he continued to force the issue. 6

Mohamed Elyounoussi

Poor afternoon for the winger coming off his hattrick against Motherwell. Struggling to put together a string of performances. 5

Tom Rogic

The Aussie wasn't his usual creative self and really tired towards the end as he gave away the ball on several occasions. 5

Albian Ajeti

Replaced by Odsonne Edouard early in the second half as his stop, start season continues. Struggled to create chances. 5

Subs:

Odsonne Edouard

A bright cameo appearance from the striker as he scored from the penalty spot and formed a good partnership with Leigh Griffiths as the Premiership champions changed to a 3-5-2. 7

Leigh Griffiths

Dangerous when he came on as he linked up well with Edouard. 6

Shane Duffy

Came on as Celtic changed to a three at the back and was faultless. 5

Olivier Ntcham

On for the final five minutes as Celtic pressed for an equalisier. 4
