Celtic player ratings as Shane Duffy suffers another horror display in six-goal Aberdeen thriller

Here are Celtic's player ratings after their 3-3 draw against Aberdeen at Pittdorie.

Celtic player ratings

Bain

Came in for Barkas after the keeper suffered a back injury and didn't put a foot wrong. Couldn't do much about the three Dons' goals.

Frimpong

Bright in the first half until he picked up a knock and slowed down after the break. Final ball let him down. 6

Ajer

Brought the ball out from the back well in the first half and a nice cross to set up the go-ahead penalty, but the introduction of Sam Cosgrove asked plenty of questions of him. 6

Duffy

Another nightmare of an afternoon for the Irishman. Shocking error that led to Aberdeen's second goal and regularly exposed at the back. 3

Laxalt

Another assured performance and continues to pop up in promising positions. His crossing was poor, but the windy conditions didn't help him. 6

Rogic

Handed a start after his impressing off the bench midweek and was Celtic's best player. Created the first two goals, including a lovely one-two with McGregor. 8

McGregor

The midfielder brought Celtic level at 1-1 as he finished off a lovely move with Rogic, but ended up the villian as he gave away a penalty at the death. 6

(SNS Group)

Ntcham

The Frenchman was having a good game until he needlessly gave away a penalty in the first half. Looked more of a threat in a deeper role, but still to show his best form this season, 6

Christie

The midfielder wasn't in his favoured position on the right hand side, but put in a solid performance. Put Celtic ahead as he calmly slotted home a penalty. 6

Elyounoussi

Frustrating figure for the majority of the match and lost the ball on several occasions, but did well to get across his man and win the spot kick. 5

Ajeti

A really poor peformance from the striker, didn't offer anything to Celtic going forward. Barely got any touches in the opposition's box. 4

Subs:

Griffiths

Made a brilliant impact off the bench with a superb finish to bring his side level at 2-2. Looked sharp. 6

Brown

A positive introduction from the captain as he helped Celtic take the lead, but it just wasn't enough to see out the win. 5

Turnbull

The midfielder was thrown on for the last ten minutes. 4
