Celtic have been put on red alert after Boca Juniors officially told Marcelo Saracchi he's not part of their plans for next season.
And he has been made available for a transfer or a loan.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan with the Scottish champions and made 19 league appearances, although 11 of those were from the bench.
He returns to Argentina on July 1 after his loan deal with Celtic expires at the end of this month and was expected to report back for training.

However, Boca boss Rodolfo Arruabarrena has now informed Saracchi he is not part of his squad for next season.
Reports in South America have also indicated that the full back will have to train on his own and will not be allowed to join up with the first team squad.
Boca need to free up a place for a new foreign player in their squad and have decided the Uruguayan defender can be sacrificed.
He's already received interest from other European teams too, who are keen to land him on loan again.
