Celtic 'not panicking' over Rangers title lead as club issue Neil Lennon stance

Celtic are 'not panicking' over Rangers' title lead and Neil Lennon's position is secure, according to a report.

The Light Blues stretched their lead at the top of the Premiership to 11 points after a 4-0 win over Aberdeen, while the Hoops dropped two points at Easter Road.

Pressure is mounting on Lennon and the Premiership champions as they try to get back on track for their Ten in a Row pursuit.

And Sky Sports claim the Parkhead club are not concerned about the gap to their rivals and are fully behind their manager.

Journalist Anthony Joseph tweeted: "As far as Celtic are concerned, it’s business as usual. Neil Lennon’s position is secure and he has the backing of the hierarchy.

"They see it as being within reach of 5 points of Rangers, with 25 games to go - including 3 derbies. Mounting pressure now, but they’re not panicking."

A report earlier today also claimed Lennon wouldn't be taking the decision to step down either and is fully committed to turning things around at Celtic.

The Hoops will face Sparta Prague on Thursday night in the Europa League.
