Afolabi signs for Dundee on loan

Jonathan Afolabi has joined Dundee on loan - and then netted his first goal as he went straight into the starting XI for a friendly against Peterhead.

The Irish striker extended his stay with the Hoops before he penned a short term deal at Dens Park until the end of the season.

He trained with his new squad this morning and was able to make an instant impact as he scored a wonderful goal in his first apperance for Dundee.

Afolabi spent last season on loan with Dunfermline.
