A former France Under-20 international, the 26-year-old was unveiled today and spoke to Celtic TV about how much he was looking forward to being a Celtic player.

"A lot." he said. "That's an experience that I'm waiting for. I can't wait to start.

"Neil Lennon came to meet me in Paris and he told me what he wanted from me. I can't wait to join him and the team and work for him."

"I have joined a historical club and the best club in Scotland! I can't wait to play my part.

"I will try to bring everything to the team. I know the team is a team who win a lot.

"Last year they did a really big thing and I'm going to try to bring everything that I can, but I'm sure that my team mates are going to bring me as much and I can't wait to start."

The Frenchman insists he is relishing the pressure of delivering trophies for Celtic.

He said: "Yeah, I think it's moments like this that you wait for when you start football when you're young.

"I'm going to repeat it, I really can't wait to start. With so much attention and the fans behind me, it's a really good feeling."
