Celtic make pre-season camp move ahead of Lyon tournament

Celtic are using Loughborough University as a pre-season camp before their trip to France.

The Hoops have stepped up their preparations for the new season and have travelled down to Leicestershire to make use of the campus' facilities.

Celtic will then make the move to France for their mini-tournament alongside Rangers, Lyon and Nice.

The Glasgow rivals will face the Ligue 1 side between July 16-18, but will not face each other during the competition.

Meanwhile, hosts Lyon have announced that Old Firm fans will not be in attendance in their Groupama Stadium.

The French club will allow 4,500 fans of their own supporters into the ground as part of a new government experiment.

But the Daily Record reports that the Parkhead and Ibrox faithful will not be allowed inside the ground.

Neil Lennon's side will also take on PSG at Parc des Princes on July 22 following the conclusion of the tournament.
